Founders Note

Ayaan Parikh
Founder & Executive Director

After reading The Physics of the Future by Michio Kaku in ninth grade, a book discussing how science will shape humans in the future, I was intrigued to see how the telemedical sector was being leveraged to help low-income populations. Seeing that no services existed, I was sparked to establish Medic All. The growing wealth gap in our nation and the increasingly privatized nature of medicine has led many homeless and impoverished individuals to lack access to proper healthcare. Though certain solutions exist, they are scarce, have multiple barriers to entry, and lack the resources to meet the growing demand for their use. By making consultations accessible to populations deprived of quality healthcare, I hope to ameliorate our nation’s health equity and narrow the drastic gap in the quality and accessibility of healthcare. Providing such services will be a monumental factor in empowering individuals to become contributing assets to society. As the organization grows, I envision spreading Medic All to cities, states, and nations, impacting generations past me.
